Junior Transport Planner

Job Title: Junior Transport Planner Salary: From €31,000 DOE Location: Rathcoole, Dublin Hours: 10:00–18:00, Mon–Fri (flexible) Purpose: Support daily planning and coordination of a busy transport operation using in-house fleet and third-party carriers. Key Responsibilities: Plan compliant driver routes (Tachographs, Drivers’ Hours, SOPs). Maintain and optimise delivery schedules. Ensure fleet and driver compliance and escalate issues when needed. Liaise with drivers, carriers and internal teams. Ensure timely load dispatch. Own assigned tasks and support KPIs. Monitor driver performance via Cubo/Orbcomm. Review driver hours and tachograph data. Assist with fleet maintenance scheduling. Provide operational data and reporting to the Operations Manager.
