Due to a significant interest in obtaining an Irish passport, we inform you that you can apply for an Irish passport after receiving citizenship (naturalization certificate). The waiting time for obtaining Irish citizenship is currently from 18 to 24 months from the date of sending the application along with all necessary documents.

Applications are currently being filled out and submitted online. Each adult applicant must register an account at the Irish Immigration Service Online https://inisonline.jahs.ie/user/register
Requirements:
- a valid Polish passport
- no criminal record (applicant's history including tickets, family and criminal cases, anti-social behaviour is checked)
- at least 18 years old; parents can apply on behalf of minor children if one of the parents is an Irish citizen or the child was born in Ireland after January 1, 2005
- continuous residence in Ireland for 5 years in the last 9 years prior to the application date - including the last 12 months immediately before submitting the application (cannot leave Ireland for more than 10 weeks in the 12 months prior to submitting the application). Residence must be documented - provided documents proving residency for each year must score a minimum of 150 points according to current requirements
- self-sufficiency (no social benefits received in the last 3 years)
- a declaration of acceptance of Irish law and its compliance
- willingness to continue residing in Ireland
