Tendermeats Ltd. are a meat processing plant loacted in Clondalkin, Dublin 22.

We are looking to hire a qualified Electrician with experience in Maintnance or as a mechanic who will work with the maintenance team in all aspects of equipment and plant maintenance, technical support and process improvement to maintain all equipment.



Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician

- Mechanical and electrical repairs to a wide range of equipment & processes. These will include high speed packing, automation, electro/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems and facilities maintenance are just some of the engineering elements that will be encountered

- Identify and carry out preventative maintenance outside formal maintenance programs

- Fully responsible for technical support requirements for production lines and their supporting processes

- Use knowledge and available materials to ensure production downtime is kept to an absolute minimum

- All plant electrical maintenance and general machine electrical maintenance

- Working with other Maintenance operatives in a Lead team roll



Requirements

- Must have a relevant trade qualification. Either an electrician with strong, wide-ranging mechanical skills or a fitter with strong, wide-ranging electrical skills.

- Industrial electrical experience, medium voltage (110V, 220V, 380V-400V, 10KV)

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment

- Experienced in a wide range of engineering principles to quickly come to terms with the engineering specifics of the plant

- 4 years relevant post-apprenticeship manufacturing experience

- Automation literate: comfortable with modern equipment control interfaces

- Mechanical aptitude

- work with drawing

- Good English and Polish an advantage

- Enthusiastic and energetic with the ability to think and act independently

- Able to drive to tasks to completion in a demanding, changing environment

- Resourceful with excellent problem solving skills and the ability to quickly create solutions where none fall immediately to hand

- Must have strong initiative and be a self-starter
